Calligraphic Painting Masterpieces at Tehran Museum of Contemporary Arts

An exhibition of painting calligraphic artworks, titled: A Review of Contemporary Iranian Calligraphic Painting over the Past 50 Years opened on ,  July 2 ,2011 at Tehran Museum of contemporary accompanied with the presentation of the book Noorali Noor on Jalil Rasuli’s latest works.

According to the museum’s department of public relations in this exhibitions calligraphies and calligraphic paintings by pioneers of these fields preserved in the museum’s collection will go on show under the title : A Review of Contemporary Iranian Calligraphic Painting over the Past 50 Years.

The collection includes works by Seyed Mohammad Ehsai, Faramarz Pilaram, Nasrollah Afjeh-ee, Hosseyn Zenderoudi, Jalil Rasuli, Reza Mafi, Sadeq Barbarani, Sadeq Tabrizi, Taha Behbahani, Asadollah Kiani, Ebrahim Haqiqi, Abolqasem Atiqehchi, Sedaqat Jabari, Javad Bakhtiari, Ali Shirazi and others.

The opening of the exhibition, accompanied the presentation of the book Noorali Noor on Jalil Rasuli’s latest works some of which are also aptly displayed at this exhibition called: A Review of Contemporary Iranian Calligraphic Painting over the Past 50 Years
