Mahmoud Golabchi, the professor of civil engineering and architectural technology teaching at Pardis college of architecture, Department of Fine Arts of Tehran university is appointed as the head of UNESCO chair in Islamic Architecture.
In a ceremony held at Tehran University, UNESCO representatives presented UNESCO chair in Islamic Architecture to the distinguished professor Mahmoud Golabchi.
”Presentation of UNESCO chair in Islamic Architecture will give me, Tehran University and Iran the opportunity to introduce the majesty and splendor of Iran on the international scene of Art and Architecture, so that all countries and nations would be able to utilize Iranian knowledge and experience in the field of architecture and civil engineering," said Golabchi in this ceremony.
