Iranian photographer Asghar Sameti has won two awards at the 11th Virtual Image International Photo Exhibition, which was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

His “Global Village” won the FIAP Bronze Medal in the Photojournalism Section and his “The Same God in Ground and Sky” won the Jury Mention in Nature Section of the exhibit, which was held in early May. 

Sameti submitted nine photos to the event. Works by Iranian photographers Borna Ahmadian, Maryam Zahiri-Mehr, Azam Najafalizadeh, and Ali Samei were also accepted for the event.

Photographers around the world attended the exhibit, which was held in the six categories of monochrome, color, creative, nature, photojournalism and travel.
