Matteo Garrone received the 2012 Cannes Festival Grand Prix award from Leila Hatami.

The Cannes Festival Grand Prix award was handed to Italian director Matteo Garrone for his film “Reality”. After receiving the prize, awarded to him by Leila Hatami, he said: "Thank you to the Festival, thank you to the actors, thank you to the production. Ciao!"

Leila Hatami, is a famous Iranian actress who played in Asghar Farhadi`s Oscar winning “A Separation”.
