An unusual photo exhibition runs in Dubai, featuring pictures of the imprints people leave on beach towels.
The show by professor Niloufar Banisadr of the Spéos Photography School in Paris, France, is at the Cuadro Fine Art Gallery until June 6.
It is certain to leave art lovers pondering about the work of the 39-year-old Banisadr, who is originally from Iran.
She said: “Beyond the diversity of shapes, colors or textures, these towels tell their own story.
“Heavy, light, lively or busy, these bodies rise, move away and leave their imprints. In their grooves and furrows, the curbs of their folds memorize a posture, emotions.”
