An exhibition displaying works of the 12th edition of the Iranian National Biennial of Photography is actually on view at the Iranian Artists Forum (IAF) in Tehran until July 4.

A total of 129 works by 110 photographers have been selected for the exhibition, which is on display at IAF’s galleries of Momayyez, Bahar, Tabestan, Paiiz and Zemestan.  

Several officials and artists attended an opening ceremony held for the exhibit which took place on June 21, 2012.

Winners of the biennial were announced during a ceremony in Yazd in mid-June 2012.

“The photos which are on display at the showcase have been chosen from 14,317 photos taken by 2,570 artists,” biennial secretary Esmaeil Abbasi said in a short speech during the opening ceremony of the exhibit, which runs until July 4.
