Iranian designer Seyyed Mehran Zare has been named as one of the 10 selected top artists participating in Poland’s 2012 Art Moves Festival Billboard Art Competition.
Zare, who studied graphic designing, beat many international artists who had submitted their works at the polish art event and entered the top 10 list.
About 1450 works created by 784 artists from 62 countries took part in this year’s competition, which focused on the theme of 'Where is the meaning? At the top or at the bottom?’
The best 10 artworks, selected by an international jury panel, are slated to be printed and exhibited in the urban space of Torun city in Poland.
The top winner is scheduled to receive the Main Award in the amount of PLN 12.000 (about EUR 2.850, USD 3.700).
The 2012 Art Moves Festival Billboard Art Competition is slated to kick off on September 14.
