An exhibition entitled “Unexposed” will be on view in Athens showcasing works by 40 young women artists from Iran.
“Unexposed” has been previously exhibited in Brussels in November 2012, and after Athens, the exhibition will also go on display in Warsaw.
Curated by Feri Malek-Madani, “Unexposed” shows a variety of works inspired by currents in the art world and diverse techniques: Embroidery, painting, collage, sports photography…
Presented by Elaheh Gallery in Tehran and Art Cantara non-profit organization in Brussels, the exhibition showcases works by 40 young Iranian women artists aged between 20 and 40: Samin Abarghoee, Alieh Abedini, Sara Abri, Asareh Akasheh, Mina Anousheh, Homa Ardakani, Maryam Ashkanian Ganjeh, Maryam Avarzamani, Sepideh Behzadi, Soudeh Davoudnouri, Fariba Dehghanizadeh, Sanaz Dezfoulian, Reyhaneh Hosseini, Banafsheh Jahangiri, Shiva Kalamian, Mahdokht Kasaee Nasab, Hoda Kashiha, Atefeh Khas, Zahra Maddah, Maryam Majd, Jina Moddaress Gorji, Neda Moeen Afshari, Sahar Mokhtari, Neda Moradi, Elham Mossadegh, Maryam Mouliayee, Mona Najafizadeh, Shiva Nouran, Sepideh Nour Mohammadmanesh, Shadi Naviani, Pouneh Oshidari, Delara Pakdel, Farnaz Rabieejah, Mehri Rahimizadeh, Hengameh Sadri, Sahar Salehi, Fatemeh Saviz, Shima Sohrabi, Zahra Tabatabaee and Atoosa Vahdani.
“Unexposed” will be on view from February 18 to March 31, 2013, in Athens.
