New Music Season in Tehran's Music Hall (Talar Vahdat)
After the cessation of musical performances in this music hall due to the mourning months of Moharam and Safar, the first concert that is going to be held in this largest and most musically advanced music hall of the country will be perfomed by Indian minstrels and Shams Tanbour Group.
Rudaki Foundation that started its serious activity with a concentration on production and performance of artistic works in Talar Vahdat since last year is the sponsor of this concert with cooperation of Indian Embassy in Tehran.
The Indian music group consisting of seven musicians led by Ghadir Niazi will have a short rehearsal with Shahm Tanbour group led by Keykhosro Pour Nazeri before the concert. It is said that the two groups will play together for about half an hour.
The second concert will be held on April, 21 and 22 when two Iranian Soloists, Taher Jalili (Piano) and Farzad Khavand (Violin) residing in France will be playing some classical pieces with Aydin Ahmadi Nejad (Cello) living in Iran. Ali Berliani, the head of the music research group of Chang Publishers said in this respect that this is the second concert performed by Iranian musicians living abroad.
A Swiss group called Salvetisti will be giving the third concert from April 21 for three nights.
A Spanish Flamingo group on April 24 and 25 will perform the fourth concert of this season.
